Premier (Martingale) Collars

These are one of our favorite collars. With a leash or your hand, The Premier Collar tightens to give greater control and reduce the risk of escape. Because it offers limited closure, it's safer than traditional choke collar.

Premier collars come in the follow sizes:
Small 3/8" wide and fits neck measuring 8"-13"
Medium 3/4" wide and fits neck measuring 10"-18 "
Large 1" wide and fits neck measuring 14"-22"

* These collars fit differently than other collars.  To fit your dog: measure your dog around the top of the neck directly behind the ears.

Gentle Leader Headcollars

We are very excited to offer Gentle Leaders!  They can retail for as much as $20-40  in stores with no explanation on their use or fit (we include a booklet which is sometimes charged extra for).

The Gentle Leader is NOT a muzzle!
Your dog can still open his mouth to eat, drink, pant, carry a toy, and bark!  With the Gentle Leader you can control unwanted behavior in a fast and gentle way. They fit much like a horse halter and work on the same principal.  Where ever the head goes the body will follow.  We like to use them on dogs with little confidence and dogs with a lot of attitude.

Gentle Leaders come in the following sizes:

   * Small under 25 pounds
   * Medium 25 to 60 pounds
   * Large 60 to 130 pounds
   * X-Large 130 and over
